Social media identity for Campbells UK
As part of an ongoing design collaboration, I worked on monthly content planning and creative execution for Campbell’s Soup UK’s social media presence. The goal was to create visually cohesive, engaging content that stayed true to the brand’s warm, comforting identity—while also introducing fresh, playful formats that encouraged interaction.
Project highlights:
- Created series such as “Spot the Difference”, “This or That”, and seasonal recipe posts.
- Designed consistent layouts using Campbell’s brand palette and assets
- Balanced creativity with a strong strategic goal: engagement and brand awareness
- Collaborated with a cross-functional team to brainstorm and schedule monthly campaigns

Client: Campbell’s Soup UK
Project: Social Media Campaign Design
Sector: Canned Foods
The Challenge
Campbell’s Soup UK needed to elevate its visual presence on social platforms with engaging, on-brand content that resonated with their existing audience while attracting new followers. The challenge was to remain faithful to the traditional, nostalgic feel of Campbell’s while introducing modern, interactive content formats. Consistency, clarity, and creativity were all essential.
My Approach
Each month, I worked closely with the content and marketing team to brainstorm and design a new batch of posts and campaign ideas. The process began with research and moodboards based on current trends, brand guidelines, and visual tone.
Key contributions included:
- Brand-Led Design System: I developed a flexible visual system that allowed content to feel fresh without straying from the Campbell’s identity. Using their colour palette and typography, I built layouts that could be reused and adapted across post types.
- Image Sourcing and Visual Research: I selected lifestyle imagery and product visuals that enhanced the concept behind each post—always aiming for warm, appetising, and relatable scenes.
- Execution and Final Design: Each visual was created in Adobe Suite and reviewed for consistency across platforms, ensuring they looked sharp and engaging on both grid and story formats.
Content Series Development
We introduced themed post series to keep the feed dynamic and engaging:
- Spot the Difference: A playful visual game using Campbell’s products and settings
- This or That: Interactive food choice posts to drive comments
- Quick & Easy Recipes: Visually clean recipe ideas that felt accessible and not overwhelming
- Seasonal Posts: Festive designs for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and more
The Result
The refreshed social presence for Campbell’s Soup UK felt more cohesive, inviting, and visually engaging. The introduction of recurring content series made the feed feel familiar and engaging, increasing interaction and giving followers something to look forward to each week. The posts supported broader brand awareness efforts while creating opportunities for fun, light-hearted engagement.
