Clean, responsive website for Simplicity Wetrooms
During my time at MRS as a Web Designer, I led the design and development of a new website for Simplicity Wetrooms—a luxury wetroom specialist and sub-brand of CCL. The aim was to deliver a clean, modern digital presence that clearly communicates their services while providing practical technical resources for installers.
The project required a fast turnaround and a strong focus on clarity and ease of use across devices, especially mobile.
- Fully responsive WordPress site built for clarity and speed
- Simple, clean design tailored for an intuitive user experience
- Gallery integration using lightweight custom JavaScript
- Custom-built HTML/CSS site using Bootstrap for speed and flexibility
- Icon and brand identity design to establish a strong visual presence

Client: Simplicity Wetrooms
Project: Website Design & Development
Sector: Luxury Wetrooms / Building & Construction
The Challenge
Simplicity Wetrooms needed a complete redesign of their outdated website, which was not mobile-friendly and lacked visual consistency. As a growing sub-brand of CCL, they needed a clear, professional online presence to reflect the quality of their offering and provide support for both customer inspiration and on-site installers.
The main challenges were to simplify the site architecture, support fast user access to technical content, and visually align the site with the high-end nature of the product—all within a tight timeline.
My Approach
With speed and functionality as priorities, I focused on a clean design language, accessible content, and lightweight performance. I designed every element with the end user in mind—whether browsing for inspiration or accessing product specs in the middle of an install.
Key aspects of the project included:
- Content & structure planning – Restructured the site for easy access to services, technical resources, and gallery content.
- Responsive design – Developed a fully responsive experience using Bootstrap, with intuitive navigation and strong visual hierarchy across devices.
- Visual identity & icon design – Developed a mini brand system including custom icons to bring consistency and visual clarity across pages.
- Custom gallery – Implemented a fast-loading, simple JavaScript gallery to showcase recent projects without relying on heavy plugins.
- Lightweight development – Delivered a performance-optimized static site built with HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap for clean code and maintainability.
The Result
The new Simplicity Wetrooms website reflects the premium nature of their services while delivering a streamlined, user-friendly experience. It serves both as a marketing tool and a practical resource for professionals in the field.
The visual refresh, combined with smart structure and performance-focused development, helped the brand stand out and communicate their value more effectively—ready to support future growth and customer engagement.
