Client: 4aces
Project: Website Design
Sector: Food & Beverage Packaging Wholesale
The Challenge
4 Aces is a well-established supplier of sustainable food and drink packaging to companies like McDonald’s, Zizzi, and Vimto. As they rebranded and realigned their focus, they needed a new website to reflect their ambitions for growth and explain their services more clearly and credibly.
Rather than a typical e-commerce site, this site was to serve as a showcase—featuring their sector knowledge, product portfolio, and luxury brand presence. The challenge was to provide an efficient, modern experience to amplify their online presence and enable long-term visibility.
My Approach
To create the new website for 4 Aces, I led the complete design of the site—building its underlying structure and visual style from scratch. The mission was to create a stylish, modern site that conveyed their focus on innovation while being simple to navigate and update.
- UX and competitor analysis – Carried out research into competitor sites and user behaviours to better understand industry positioning and audience expectations, helping shape both layout and navigation strategy.
- Site architecture planning – Combined and organised product categories for an simpler, more intuitive user experience.
- Brand-aligned design – Created a contemporary, clean appearance and feel using refined typography, a distinctive colour palette, and high-quality product imagery.
- Responsive design – Made sure it works correctly and looks the same on every screen size and device.
- Flexible content management – Built using the latest version of WordPress and the Gutenberg editor, so the client can make content alterations easily while maintaining the brand appearance consistent.
- Collaborative content development – Worked closely with the content team to align written tone and visuals during the design phase for a cohesive result.
The Result
The new 4 Aces website delivered a confident, elevated brand experience—translating their updated identity into a cohesive digital presence. The design speaks directly to their audience of wholesalers and foodservice brands, offering a smooth, informative journey through their offering.
Despite a tight timeline, the site was launched on schedule with a seamless migration from the previous platform. Clean structure, smart navigation, and visual consistency helped increase engagement and visibility, supporting 4 Aces in their next phase of growth.
